A family winery that is located at the Pozar thermal baths region. The love for nature and the respect for history connected the family with the vineyards since 1936, when Sotiris Thomaidis (first generation) started selling the grapes of his vineyards. In 2005, Anastasios Thomaidis (second generation) established the traditional distillery and the first small winery of the family. He starts winemaking and distillation producing procedures. In 2015, Savvas Thomaidis, completed his studies in the viticulture, winemaking and distilling sector and with the cooperation of his brother, the pharmacist Sotiris Thomaidis, updated and extended the winery (third generation) . Nowadays, the machinery we use at the winery’s facilities provides the latest available winemaking technology, respecting the ecosystem. The 3GENIES winery focuses on the production of quality wine, the expression of our unique microclimate and the highlighting of our rare local variety, Amassi.

Tradition and livelihood
1936
As immigrants from Asia Minor to the Pozar area of Aridea, we acquired the first vineyards. Thanks to the rare Greek variety Amassi we survived through hard times.

We acquired our first vineyards in the surrounding area of Piperia and Pozar.
Vision and passion
2004
We created the first product expressing the love of the Thomaidis family for viticulture. With a lot of personal labour the tsipouro opens new paths and dreams.

The third generation begins specialised studies in the field of wine.

Our priorities are to highlight the rare Greek Amassi variety for the first time and to express the special and favourable microclimate of the Pozar area in other known varieties as well.
