Family tradition that was born and developed in the area of Aridea N. Pellas, in the community of Piperia, on the road to the thermal springs of Pozar. The love for nature, the respect for history and the roots have connected the family with the vineyard since 1936, when Sotiris Thomaidis (first generation) started selling the grapes of his vineyard. In 2005, Anastasios Thomaidis (second generation) founded the traditional distillery of the family in which he started gradually making good use of a part of the privately owned production, by producing tsipouro under the occasional distillers procedure. In 2016, Savvas Thomaidis, completing his studies in the viticulture, winemaking and distilling sector and with the help of his brother, pharmacist Sotiris Thomaidis, created the winery (third generation). The family’s philosophy focuses on the production of quality wine and spirits that bear the stamp of the microclimate of the Piperia area and highlight its uniqueness.
